Skin Resurfacing

Plasma Fibroblast Clarkson

A precise, surface-level treatment that tightens and resurfaces skin around the eyes and jawline, genuinely effective, and genuinely honest about the healing process involved.

How It Works

What Is Plasma Fibroblast?

Plasma fibroblast uses a fine plasma arc, a small electrical discharge that never touches the skin, to create controlled micro-trauma across the surface layer. That deliberate, contained trauma is the point: it stimulates the fibroblast cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin, which tightens and resurfaces the skin as it heals. There's no cutting, no stitches and no anaesthetic injections involved.

It's become a popular search for anyone in Clarkson looking into plasma fibroblast clarkson who wants a non-surgical alternative to blepharoplasty (surgical eyelid lift) or a more targeted alternative to a broader skin-tightening treatment. Because the plasma tool can be precise, it's particularly well suited to smaller, more defined areas rather than large stretches of the body.

We'll be upfront with you: this treatment works at the surface of the skin, not beneath it, and that means the healing process looks different to most other treatments on our menu. We'd rather you know exactly what that involves before you book than be surprised by it afterwards. More on that below.

Who It Suits

What It Treats

Plasma fibroblast is one of the treatments we discuss most often with clients dealing with facial ageing, particularly fine lines, looser upper or lower eyelids, and a loss of definition along the jawline. Its precision makes it a genuinely good fit for these smaller, detailed areas where a broader treatment would be overkill.

If your concern is spread across a larger area of the face, neck or body, it's worth considering HIFU or RF Skin Tightening Clarkson instead. Both work beneath the skin's surface with no visible healing process, which suits people who can't plan around downtime. Plasma fibroblast, HIFU and RF are genuinely different approaches to a similar goal, and we'll help you work out which one actually fits your skin and your lifestyle rather than steering you toward whichever sounds most impressive.

Being Upfront With You

What Healing Actually Looks Like

This is the part of plasma fibroblast we make sure every client understands before they book, not after. Straight after your session, the treated area will have a pattern of small dark dots. These are a normal, expected part of how the treatment works, not a sign anything's gone wrong. The area will also be swollen and pink to begin with, and that swelling can be more noticeable than people expect, particularly around the eyes.

Over the days that follow, those dots darken and form small crusts, which then scab and gradually flake away. This process generally plays out over about a week, though it can vary from person to person. You'll need to keep the area protected from sun and let the scabs come away on their own rather than picking at them, and we'll send you home with clear aftercare instructions to support that.

We're telling you this plainly because we think you deserve to plan around it properly, around work, events, or anything where you'd rather not be visibly healing. Once the flaking is done, the skin underneath is fresh and generally looks tighter and smoother, but getting there is a genuine process, not a quick fix. We'll never book you in without making sure you're comfortable with what the week ahead looks like, and we're always upfront about how many sessions might realistically suit your skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is the one thing we want you fully prepared for before you book. The plasma tool creates a grid of tiny dark dots across the treated area. These aren't wounds in the traditional sense, but they are visible, and they look like small carbon spots straight after treatment. Over the following days, the area swells a little, the dots darken further, and then they scab and flake off, generally over about a week. Your skin underneath is pink and fresh once the flakes clear, but you do need to plan around this. It's not a treatment you'd have the week of an event or important photos. We'll walk you through the full healing timeline and aftercare at your consultation so there are no surprises.
